Week 2 – Effects of Normal Aging, What older adults want from yoga Week 3 – Department of Health and Aging Guidelines: Strength and Endurance Week 4 – Department of Health and Aging Guidelines: Flexibility and Balance Week 5 – Improving Energy levels and providing tools for stress relief (breathing and meditation) Week 6 – Common conditions of aging Week 7 -- Common Conditions of aging, medical forms, medication issues, visual assessments Week 8 – Common diseases experienced by the elderly Week 9 – Common diseases experienced by the elderly Week 10 – Sequencing and Communication Week 11 – Group dynamics, regulatory issues, research Week 12 – Video of chair class and discussion of project for completion of class.
